НА НЕТ И СУДА НЕТ (saying) used to express resignation to, but not dissatisfaction with, the absence of sth. , s.o. 's refusal to do sth. etc: = if s.o. doesn't (can't, hasn't etc), then s.o. doesn't (can't, hasn't etc) if it hasn't come (didn't happen etc ), it hasn't (come) ( didn't (happen) etc ) if that's the way it is ( s.o. feels about it etc) then there's nothing to be done about it so be it what cannot be cured must be endured.
